Randy Knight is Professor of Physics at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. In addition to his teaching duties, he is the author of Physics for Scientists and Engineers: A Strategic Approach (Pearson, 2012), a calculus-based introductory physics text that incorporates the results of physics education research, and the algebra-based College Physics: A Strategic Approach (Pearson, 2010).
