Cal Poly is committed to being a safe and healthy place for all of our students, faculty and staff. Campus resources provide the support you need to stay in good physical and mental health, address challenges, and cultivate a safe, caring community where you can be yourself throughout the year.
Campus Health and Wellbeing
Staffed by board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, Campus Health and Wellbeing provides care for most illnesses and injuries as well as lab services, onsite x-rays, and a pharmacy for prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. A 24/7 nurse advice line is available for concerns outside normal business hours. Most services are available to currently enrolled students without any additional fees.
Counseling Services
Licensed professionals provide mental health services including individual, couples and group therapy, crisis intervention, mental health trainings and workshops and more.
Peer Health Education
Peer Health Educators within the PULSE Program promote healthy behaviors and guidance on sexual and mental wellbeing, nutrition and physical activity, and alcohol and drug education.
Wellbeing Resources
The Health Center offers a variety of wellbeing services and support tailored to the needs of the Cal Poly campus community.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center provides accommodations and coordinates support for those with permanent and temporary disabilities. Services include assistive technologies, housing and dining needs, transportation, academic accommodations and more.
Student Safety services
Police Department
Our full service Police Department provides round-the-clock professional law enforcement services to the campus.
Safety Escort Services
The safety escort van is available from designated pick-up and drop-off locations across campus during the evening.
Sexual Assault Resources
Cal Poly offers several resources for victims of sexual assault or any other type of sexual abuse.
