Grants | Cal Poly

Grants are federal, state, or university-funded awards that are based on need and don’t need to be repaid.

All grants have different eligibility requirements and are determined based on the information you provide on your FAFSA or California Dream Act application. Amounts are also tentative pending legislative approval of federal and state budgets.

Federal Grants

Federal Grants are funded by the federal government and awarded to students with financial need.

State Grants

State Grants are funded by the state of California and awarded to students with financial need.

Cal Poly Grants

Cal Poly Grants are awarded to Cal Poly students with financial need.
