Scholarships are types of aid that don’t require repayment. They come from many sources and can be based on academic achievement, athletic ability, geographical location, departmental and community involvement, areas of study, financial need as well as other factors.
Cal Poly Scholarships
Cal Poly offers a variety of university-wide and college-based scholarships. You are automatically considered for most scholarships when you apply for admission, and you can complete an application for additional scholarships once you are enrolled in classes. Continuing students complete a scholarship application from the My Cal Poly Portal in March for consideration for major-based scholarships.
Outside Scholarships
Many private sector companies, philanthropic organizations, or foundations offer outside scholarships that may be available to Cal Poly Students.
