Children of Soldiers

If you qualify for a Pell Grant, your Estimated Family Contribution will be reduced to zero if your parent or guardian was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who died in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001. In order to qualify for this reduction, you must have been less than 24 years old or were enrolled in college when your parent or guardian died.
